In over a decade’s worth of work, both as a Professional Counselor and a Marriage & Family Therapist, providing services to clientele with a diverse set of issues and concerns, Matt has developed an appreciation for the uniqueness of every person’s story. He believes that each individual and family should be treated with a holistic or “big picture” approach. With this perspective, Matt makes it a priority to address multiple facets of a client’s life including mental, relational, physical, and spiritual health. His work includes a wide variety of service modalities for individual adults, and adolescents. Matt’s concern for cyclical problems that plague family life guides his work with families and couples. In his work to treat his clients’ wide range of health needs, Matt implements several different treatment strategies and approaches as they are needed. Treatment is tailored to each individual as no two people are exactly alike. Matt received his Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from Wheaton College Graduate School.

Lauren is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has had the privilege of partnering with individuals and families as they seek to understand the impact of generational trauma, gain positive coping skills, and experience healing and emotional health. She believes that people come to a place of emotional wellness when they are given space to process and the tools needed to recognize their strengths and inherent worth. Lauren provides an empathic environment to help individuals and families find meaning amidst difficulties. She uses a strengths-based, person-centered approach tailored to the unique needs of each client. Lauren received her Master of Social Work degree from Aurora University.
Dan is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with almost 20 years of experience and a passion for helping others. He provides individual, family, and marital/couple’s therapy to adults, as well as treatment to children and adolescents. Dan has experience in treating a wide variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, communication/intimacy/marital issues, ADHD, and oppositional behavior in children. Dan has a warm and accepting approach that helps you to quickly feel comfortable so that you can create specific and achievable goals as a team. While trained and skilled in many treatment approaches, he often uses a client-centered approach with a cognitive-behavioral focus, which allows you to play an active role in your treatment. He will tailor your treatment to fit your needs or preferences and work to identify strategies and solutions unique to you. Dan enjoys spending his time away from the office with his wife, son, close friends, and two cats. He enjoys playing sports, watching the Blackhawks whenever he can, exercising, listening to music, and playing guitar.
